I like the way you plan, Ashley!
We have had the opportunity to do just what you are planning! A Disney Cruise followed by a few days at the Walt Disney World Resort is truly magical. Usually, we arrive back to our Disney Resort hotel before 11 A.M., and that still affords plenty of time at a theme park. However, our family prefers to not to go to a theme park that first day off the ship. We use that day to relax by the pool or head to the
Downtown Disney® Area. There are many new shops and restaurants opening in this area. I suggest making an advanced dining reservation for a late lunch at one of the fabulous restaurants. We are looking forward to trying
The BOATHOUSE on our next visit. If you are looking for kid/teen-friendly options,
DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park and
Splitsville Luxury Lanes™ both offer great family entertainment. Be sure to stop by
Ghirardelli® Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop for a delicious, sweet treat. I hope this helps, and you have a magical time--both on sea and land!
