Doing the Dining Plan for the first time.Wondering if it is based on the number of meals/day (1 TS,1 QS,1 snack), or just the dollar amount ($38/day)? Can we eat at an expensive restaurant each night and still have both the QS and snack each day?

    Hi,

First of all, let me say..."you are going to love this dining experience!".  Once tried, it is very hard not to want it on your next trip (you do get quite spoiled with your food choices).  To answer your question:  You can eat at any participating restaurant when you are on the Dining Plan.  Some are more expensive than others and a few will require that you use two Table Service credits instead of just one (i.e. for some of the "Signature" restaurants, "Dinner Shows" and "Cinderella's Royal Table").  If you choose right, then you can eat at some very nice restaurants that have quite "pricey" menu items (the choice is yours) you are paying the $38/day and your savings is based on how much you order off of the menu at participating restaurants.  Put it this way, once you have paid for the Dining Plan then you pay nothing else except your gratuities (which are not included except for a very limited selection of dining experiences that still have gratuities included in your dining plan...please ask a cast member when making your advanced dining reservations so you are well prepared before your reservation).  You will receive 1 Table Service credit, 1 Quick Service (counter service) credit and 1 snack per person, per day of your "Basic Dining Plan" vacation package.  These credits can be used however you wish...i.e. you could use 4 quick service credits one day and 2 table service the next day and 3 snack options one day and 2 the next..... the possibilities are endless and totally up to you.  Your combination of a nice "pricey" dinner (as you put it) and a counter service meal for breakfast or lunch and a snack per day is completely allowed if that is how you wish to use your credits...that is just fine! Enjoy your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks!

    Have a magical time!
