We are doing the ddp at wdw in March and are confused about the last day of our stay. With the DDP on the hotel card, how do you use the remainder of the DDP credits after checkout? I believe that they are good until midnight of the day of checkout?

    Hello Beth!

You are absolutely right - your dining credits are good until midnight of the day you check-out of your resort. You won't have a problem using your remaining credits because you get to keep your Key to the World card which acts as your room key, park tickets and dining credits. I have all of our old keys and they really do make nice souvenirs of your trip. When you leave your resort, take your keys with you and enjoy your final day of vacation!

In fact, you may not even have to waste time visiting the check-out desk in the morning. When you check-in at your resort you will have the option to put a credit card down. If you do that, you will qualify for express check-out. On your final morning a cast member will leave an itemized list of everything charged to your room key. If everything is correct, you can just pack up and leave. It's very simple and doesn't take away precious time from enjoying the parks!

Have a wonderful trip! It's almost here!
