    We're doing 6 days in late February and going all out as always. Staying at the Boardwalk Villas, premium dining plan, 6 days parkhopper plus, magic my way, etc. We're reading online about the magic bands and cards. Will they be available by Feb 23?

    Hi Ajay,

    Your vacation sounds wonderful!  I love Disney's BoardWalk Villas - it is my home resort with Disney Vacation Club.  I love the hustle and bustle of the Crescent Lake area, and the quick walk to Epcot is amazing!

    The MagicBands are part of MyMagic+, Disney's initiative which supports guests in using technology to make the most of their Walt Disney World vacation.  Disney is currently testing the MagicBands with many Walt Disney World Resort guests.  I am not sure of the dates that the MagicBands will be widely available, so I am not sure if they will still be in testing phase when you visit Walt Disney World, or if they will be entirely rolled out by then.  

    I suggest that you be sure to link your resort reservation on My Disney Experience, the hub for making and managing your Walt Disney World travel plans.  If you check back occasionally, you may find that you are able to get MagicBands on My Disney Experience.  Another way that Disney Vacation Club guests have been notified that they are part of a MagicBand test is through the mail.  I received a package from United Parcel Service with a letter telling me that I could be a part of the MagicBand testing for a recent trip.  I also noticed this on My Disney Experience.
