Hello, Erin and welcome to planDisney!
Erin, as a guest who is sometimes more excited about dining around the Walt Disney World Resort than testing my nerves on thrill rides, I'm happy to talk with you about breakfast at
Magic Kingdom Park. Currently, Erin, as the Walt Disney World Resort is
operating in a state of phased reopening, some of the offerings at beloved restaurants have been modified. At this time, that does include breakfast options at fan favorites like
Cinderella's Royal Table and
Be Our Guest Restaurant.
Now, Erin, we are seeing the return of some favorite experiences, like
Festival of the Lion King which will be delighting guests once again later this summer, so I'm hopeful that breakfast options will soon return as well. Erin, please note that we don't have an official word, just a dream in my heart because I too love enjoying a Mickey waffle in the shadow of Cinderella Castle. I encourage you to keep a close watch on the Disney Parks Blog as Tinker Bell likes to sprinkle her pixie-dusted announcements there first.
Before I say farewell, let me offer one suggestion for you to consider: breakfast at
Chef Mickey's located at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. This family style breakfast is complete with the sighting of some familiar faces and since Disney's Contemporary Resort is connected to Magic Kingdom Park by a walkway, you can easily make your way into the park as soon as everyone in your party has a full belly and a Mickey-sized smile.
Erin, please come on back with any other questions you might have. In the meantime, I'll be crossing my fingers for you that we see the return of breakfast reservations soon.
Lauren
