Hi there, Preston!
Welcome back to planDisney. Back-to-back cruises sound amazing! What a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season! I sailed with my planDisney friends on a
Very Merrytime Cruise last year, and I loved the festive decor and seasonal events that took place on the ship.
I highly recommend enjoying Cookies BBQ on
Disney's Castaway Cay. Like many onboard dining experiences, food at Cookies BBQ is currently included in your Disney Cruise, which means more time on the island! This lunch buffet usually includes a variety of barbecue options, such as burgers, ribs, and chicken, plus salads and ice cream (my favorite!). My planDisney pal,
Melissa, made a wickedly tall ice cream cone, and I may have had two ice cream cones during our cruise. They are the perfect treat on a warm sunny day!
However, if you prefer to eat on the ship,
Cabanas should be open while docked at Disney's Castaway Cay. Cabanas has a huge buffet with many delicious options that often change each day. In addition, quick service locations on the pool deck and room service are usually available. Did you know that most
room service is complimentary on Disney Cruises? Need coffee in your room as you get ready for the day, or want a sweet treat before bedtime? Order room service! I always bring cash to tip the wonderful Crew Members who provide room service.
Since meal offerings can change at any time, I recommend checking your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app during your sailing to see what is available on your Disney's Castaway Cay day. If you have not downloaded the app yet, you can do it now! I love seeing the countdown to my next cruise in the app.
Preston, enjoy your Disney Cruise Line vacation! Contact planDisney again if you have additional questions.
Happy sailing!
Jen
