Doing AK on 6/2. Will be doing EE first thing in the AM. Looking at the map, AK looks like a maze of chaos! What is the quickest way to get to EE from the entrance? At an moderate pace, how long of a walk is it to EE and then on to the Safari ride? Thanks!

Hi Ana.

What a great way to start your adventure at Disney's Animal Kingdom, a trip up the forbidden mountain on Expedition Everest. The time it will take you to walk there is dependant on what you consider a moderate pace and how many other people are walking the paths through the park at the same time.

My husband and daughters did the exact same thing and he said it took about 10 minutes with two little girls in tow. The quickest way there is to walk to the Tree of Life and turn right. Expedition Everest will be at the end of the path. There is great signage as well.

Kilimanjaro Safari will take about 20 minutes at a moderate pace.
