We are doing an adult family vacation at WDW (09/15-09/21) Any suggestions on adult birthday celebrations? He just got out of the Marines and we really haven't celebrated his birthday in 4 years!

    Hello Patrice,

It sure sounds like you are ready for adventure!

Looking at your dates, the first thing that comes to mind is the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which begins that same week! Strolling around the World Showcase sounds like a great birthday to me.

For some extra high-fives and festive smiles, make sure to grab a complimentary Happy Birthday button at Guest Relations on your way in. Then begin your journey through the Global Marketplaces located all throughout the park and start celebrating!

My husband and I loved tasting our way around the world trying different foods from all ends of the earth. It was such a fun atmosphere of laughing and music. Not to mention the food is incredible! Served in small portions, you'll want to split a few items throughout the evening so you can enjoy as many as possible! I like to think of it as a progressive dinner followed by the best fireworks show on property.

If you prefer a sit-down celebration, there are some amazing new restaurants at Disney Springs. Morimoto Asia is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and a gorgeous atmosphere. If you like to dance, check out STK Orlando for it's fantastic menu and in-house DJ.

Whatever you decide, I hope you have a wonderful birthday celebration. Enjoy!
