Doing my ADR's this Sun. If we want to do K. safari first thing should I book breakfast with Donald or breakfast at Boma? My kids will be 9-5-2 when we take our trip. have the dining plan. and is one easier to get to from poly than the other?

    Hi Natacha,

I definitely recommend Donald's Safari Breakfast (the earliest reservation you can secure) if you'd like to hit Kilimanjaro Safaris close to "rope drop" at the Animal Kingdom.  If you get an early reservation, you will be allowed into the park before it opens to make your table in time, and then can walk over to the Safari.

Boma is a fantastic restaurant.  Its breakfast and dinner buffets are near the top of our Disney Dining lists, but since you are at the Polynesian, you'll have an easier time taking a bus directly to Animal Kingdom, rather than having to get to Animal Kingdom Lodge first and then over to the park for your ride.  The resorts start to run special "character breakfast" shuttles early in the morning for guests who have reservations before the parks actually open, so don't worry about not being able to get there in time.  Simply tell the front desk about your reservation the day before and they will let you know where and when to catch a bus to Animal Kingdom.

With kids your ages, Donald's breakfast is likely to be a big hit!  Sharing waffles and eggs with the characters always gets my kids psyched for a Disney day!

    Have a great trip!
