Hello, Doind Disney Dream in Feb 2018. Interested in doing one day at MK. Any advise or tips? Do you still get a magic band for a one day pass?

    Hi Bree,

It sounds like you are planning a great trip, with a Disney Cruise Line vacation and maybe some time at Walt Disney World. Let me help you think through your possible day at Magic Kingdom.

I would say if you can, yes, spend a day at Magic Kingdom! It was the first Disney theme park in Florida, and was where the magic all began. I recommend that you purchase your theme park ticket ahead of time and be sure to have it linked in your My Disney Experience account. This will allow you to make Disney FastPass+ selections before you even head out on your vacation. Disney FastPass+ selections will allow you to experience some attractions with shorter wait times. A couple of my favorite attractions to use Disney FastPass+ selections for at Magic Kingdom include Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel receive complimentary MagicBands with their stay. If you choose not to stay at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, you will receive a plastic card as your ticket media. You can then purchase a MagicBand if you wish. If you are planning to stay for a night, do consider the many benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, which you will receive even if only staying for one night.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Bree!
