Hiya Laura,
Welcome to planDisney! As someone who considers her dog her first child, I love that
select places at Walt Disney World Resort let you stay with your dogs. We recently brought our dog with us to
Port Orleans – Riverside, and it was the best! He had so much fun, and our children loved it as well.
Enough about our dog, let's talk about yours. First off, great question, Laura. I'm sure you have seen on the website that pets aren't permitted in tents and pop-up campers, but it doesn't mention hybrid campers. I don't want to give you inaccurate information so I reached out to Shelly, a Cast Member in Guest Services, to clarify the policy. Unfortunately, she said the policy currently states that to bring your dogs to
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you must have an RV; a hybrid camper is not permissible for pets.
I wish I had better news, but I hope it was still helpful, Laura. If you already have a reservation and need an RV, you can rent one through one of the three Disney Featured Providers. They would be happy to help you get an RV so your dogs can stay with you during your upcoming vacation. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
