Is there a dog kennel currently at Hollywood Studios, or is the Best Friends Pet Hotel the only option?

    Hi Kathleen,

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am tickled to see you are looking for Pet Friendly Accommodations at Walt Disney World® Resort. Best Friends Pet Hotel is the option I would suggest. Unfortunately, there is no pet kennel at Disney's Hollywood Studios although service animals are allowed. There are also dog-friendly hotels that are part of the Disney Resorts Collection. Those include: Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort.

As you continue to plan, I do hope you have considered booking a vacation package, even if only for a few nights. There is so much to see at each theme park, having at least one night to stay in a resort close to the parks would give you more time to experience it all. As you plan, be sure to check the Special Offers. Also take a look at the possible dining locations that accept advanced dining reservations and review the experiences offered as part of the Enchanting Extras Collection.

If you decide to book a vacation package, also consider the type of theme park tickets you will purchase. When our girls were younger, we usually purchased the standard 1-day tickets but as they got older, we loved the tickets with the Park Hopper® Option. We typically go back to the resort hotel for an afternoon break and then will head back out to a park in the late afternoon or early evening.

Kathleen, I hope this helps! Happy planning!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
