DS6 doesn't like face make-up, refused Knight Pkg @ BBB last year. Looking at Harmony Barber Shop instead of Pirates League since DD9 will be at BBB. Is there a particular time of day when Dapper Dans are more likely to make an appearance?

Plenty of pirates refuse make-up. A layer of face paint can interfere with a scallywag's ability to growl arrrgh, contort his features into a threatening expression, and reduce his ship cred with his mates.

The barbers at the Harmony Barber Shop are pros with children so your son should have a memorable experience during his trim. According to a Cast Member in this classic haircut spot, the Dapper Dans appear in the shop "on a whim", so planning an appointment around their appearance would be tricky. The most frequent time, however, the barbershop quartet feels the spirit to sing in the barbershop is around 11:45. If an appointment at a quarter till noon fits into your schedule, you might want to opt for this slot, but your son will have a happy haircut with or without singing accompaniment.

Lynn, if you want any additional information to help create a magical vacation for your family please contact me. From your detailed question, you seem quite Walt Disney World savvy!
