What documents are needed for the Florida resident discounts

    Hi Frances,

One of the benefits of living in Florida -- either full- or part-time -- is the opportunity to take advantage of special offers for Walt Disney World. My family frequently uses the Florida resident discounts for annual passes, multi-day tickets, resort reservations and more.

To activate those offers, you simply must present proof of residency with an official document that shows your Florida address. The majority of the time, full-time residents use their drivers license, state ID cards or Florida-based military IDs.

If you are a part-time resident or don't have an official ID with your Florida address, you can show any of a number of documents, including a utility bill, bank statement, mortgage document or other statements with your address. You can find a complete list on the proof of residency page of the website.

It's a quick and easy process. When my husband and I activate our annual passes, we stop by a ticket window outside one of the theme parks, show our drivers licenses and we're inside the gate within minutes.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Frances. Please come back again if you have more questions about Florida resident offers or about planning your visit to take advantage of those discounts.
