Hello, Mari!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for visiting us with a
Disneyland Resort question. I’m glad you’re thinking of planning a theme park day soon!
It sounds like you heard that only California residents can enter the theme parks for the time being. If you are a current Californian, you’re welcome to
purchase tickets and make
theme park reservations to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. First and foremost, make sure that your contact information, especially your home address in California, is up-to-date in your Disney account on
Disneyland.com. When you make your reservation, you’ll be asked to confirm that you and everyone in your group are in-state residents.
Cast Members at the theme park entrance gates may ask Guests to present valid identification to show proof of residency. If you don’t have a California driver’s license, I suggest bringing along your student ID and a current utility bill that shows your California home address and matches the name on your identification card. Be prepared to show these documents along with your theme park ticket and reservation code if requested.
I hope this answers your question and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth soon! Please ask us any other planning questions you can dream of, Mari!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
