Are there any doctors on the resorts or in the Walt Disney World parks that can be seen if needed. My son often gets ear infections and we never know when he will get one.

    Hi Tamara,

Love that you are planning ahead - just in case. No one likes to see their children not feeling well especially on vacation in an unfamiliar area.

While there are no doctors on the resorts, there are several urgent care facilities nearby. There is a Centra Care Walk-In Urgent Care affiliated with Florida Hospital in Lake Buena Vista that is open weekdays 8 a.m. - midnight and on weekends from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. They offer free transportation to local attractions to and from their facility. They also offer Physician Room Service where a doctor will come to your resort room. Their phone number for the Lake Buena Vista location is 407-934-2273.  You can also visit them on-line at www.centracare.org.

Doctors on Call Service will also come to your resort. Their number is 407-399-DOCS and they provide 24 hour house calls.

In case of an emergency, Florida Hospital Celebration Health is nearby and can be reached by calling 911 - www.celebrationhealth.com.

I'd also suggest bringing a copy of your son's medical records and the medications he is typically prescribed. You can always check with the front desk of your resort if you need further assistance finding medical assistance.

I'll keep my fingers crossed you do need this information but glad you'll have it in case you do.  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
