Hello, DMP, This will be our fourth Disney cruise but our first 7 day(fantasy), we will be at sea for 2 days before we dock in St. Thomas. What is there to do the two days at sea

    Hi, Monique!

Wow, a seven-night voyage on the Disney Fantasy - you'll be amazed at all there is to see and do on Disney Cruise Line's newest vessel in the fleet. Though I shouldn't pick favorites when it comes to the Disney ships, I've got to admit I'm a big fan of the Fantasy!

No worries about having enough to do on sea days - the Disney Cruise staff will have the schedule full of activities for all ages. Days at sea are some of my favorite times to enjoy and explore the beautiful ship! Here's a hint - if you plan for pool time, head out to the pool deck early to find a spot. You won't be allowed to "save" chairs by sending one member of your sailing party, so make sure everyone is "pool ready" when you "hit the deck"! The pool is definitely more crowded on sea days - it's the place to be for fun in the sun. My husband and I like to grab a spot where we have a clear view of the Funnel Vision screen, so we can watch classic Disney films while we enjoy the ocean breeze. Our kids spend a sea day seeing how many times they can ride the AquaDuck water coaster!

As a fourth-timer, I'm sure you're familiar with the daily schedules you receive in your stateroom - DCL's Personal Navigators. Make sure to pack a few colored highlighters so you can make notes on your Navigator of your "can't-miss" activities onboard. Sea days are packed full of fun!

A super fun activity on the Fantasy is the Muppets Adventure Game - an interactive activity at the Midship Detective Agency. Simply pick up a game card, map and instructions at the self-serve kiosk on Deck 5 to begin a cool adventure that takes you all over the ship! The game is intended for cruisers age 9 and over.  I'm not ashamed to admit I'm way over the age of nine, and had a blast playing the game! Your adventure might take you by Stateroom 5148 1/2, where Pepe the King Prawn resides. Make sure to check out his Muppet-sized stateroom door!

I hope you have a magical voyage! - Diane W.
