Hi DMP, First time cruiser's, we have two separate bookings for the Dream in July. Both state rooms are next door. Our question is, how do we ensure we are seated together for rotational dining ?

    Hi there, James!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited that you sailed by with your question about your very FIRST Disney Cruise Line vacation!  And you’ve chosen my personal DREAM itinerary – one with TWO stops at Castaway Cay!  There is so much to do there, we can never seem to fit it all into one day, so having a second day there sounds so wonderful!

Another one of my favorite things about a Disney Cruise Line vacation is the unique rotational dining system.  Having your schedule is already made for you, the biggest decision you will be left with is what to order from the nightly menus!  If you cannot decide, go ahead and order two things and try them both!  One thing you will NOT go without while onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is food!  But I always recommend listening to the suggestions given by your incredible dining room servers as they usually do not steer me wrong!  In order to ensure your two staterooms are seated together for dinner each night, first, make sure that they are linked together.  You can confirm that they are by logging into your “My Reservations” account and you should be able to see both reservations on there.  If you do not, you can contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 or your travel agent to ensure that they link the two reservations.  Once the reservations are linked then your dining will also be linked!  Since the reservations will be linked, you will also be able to make any onboard activities reservations for all Guests in the reservations which is always nice when planning activities for a group.

Since you will be traveling with others, make sure everyone has the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded to their smartphones.  You do not need an internet package to utilize this app but will simply connect to the onboard DCL-GUEST WiFi network for use onboard!  On it you will find a full schedule of entertainment and activities, menus (so you can start thinking about what to order!), and much more!

Wishing you the most magical and memorable adventure at sea, James!

    Happy Sailing!
