Hi there, Nicholas!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed back by with another great question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation…that is what we are here for! We love to share our experiences to help other Guests have the most magical of adventures at sea, so please come back as often as you want!
My family cruised on a
Baja itinerary this past March and while temperatures can vary from year to year and itinerary to itinerary, hopefully my experience can help guide you and your wife when it comes to packing appropriately! I always, always, always bring a sweater for onboard the ships, and this goes for day and night! I also recommend that Guests do the same because they tend to keep the common areas (main dining rooms, atrium, theaters and entertainment venues) at a comfortable temperature for a large group of people, which for me is chilly! But as long as I have a sweater or cardigan that I can wear, I am usually pretty comfortable! Obviously, evenings on the Pacific Ocean will be a little chillier than evenings in the Caribbean Sea, but I was still very comfortable in a sundress and cardigan. Hopefully this helps your wife in determining what she may want to pack and bring along with her! And, of course, as your voyage approaches, check the local weather to see if any major weather changes are expected and pack appropriately if necessary!
No matter what, you are going to find yourselves very comfortable on the
Disney Wonder! While my family loves all four Disney Cruise Line ships, we just love the “Classic ships”, the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic and I know you will too! From the incredible live action,
"Frozen, A Musical Spectacular" to
Tiana’s Place for an entertaining dinner service, you are going to love it all!
I hope to “sea” you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel before your voyage gets here, Nicholas!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
