Hey there, hi there, Dan! It's a pleasure to have you stop by planDisney with your ticket question.
Oh boy! You are going to Disneyland! There's so much fun to be had at Disneyland Resort and October is one of my favorite months to enjoy the parks. Paper tickets are no longer sent to Guests instead you should have digital tickets. Whether you've purchased a Disneyland Resort Hotel Package or just purchased tickets on the Disneyland website, you will be able to access your tickets through the Disneyland app.
If you purchased tickets separately, you would have received a confirmation email and in that email, there are ticket ID numbers. You would use these ID numbers and link them to your Disney account through the
Disneyland app. Then you just pull them up on the app to scan into the park at the turnstile. During your purchase process, you should have also selected your dates and parks for your theme park ticket reservations. The last time I checked, they do still print you out paper tickets when you scan your ticket for the first time at the gate.
If you purchased a
vacation package through Disneyland Resort, your tickets are part of your Travel ePackage. Your ePackage will link to your account four days before your arrival. This is when you will see your tickets on the app. However, you will want to make your theme park ticket reservations before this to make sure you can actually get into the parks! In your confirmation email, you will have a confirmation or reservation number that you will add to "My Hotel Reservations" in the app. Once you've linked this, there should be a prompt for you to click and make your reservations. Theme park ticket reservations can be made 120 days in advance, so you should be able to make them now.
Planning Tip: Another important date to remember is 60 days out from your visit. This is when you can
book dining reservations, including character dining! Mickey waffles taste even better when you get to dance around in your seat with Goofy at
Goofy's Kitchen.
Dan, I hope this answers your question. We are here for any of your questions as you continue to plan all the details.
