    We're going to DL in Nov & have been before, but my cousin K.Etmanski said you might have some idea about when/where to look for any deals on hotels/passes, and if the dining plan is worth it. We are interested in the DL Hotel & tips with kids age

    I am so glad Kirsten sent you my way!  It has been a pleasure serving with her on the panel this year! 

    November is actually a fabulous time to visit Disneyland with cool temperatures and lower than usual crowd levels!  In addition, you'll be able to experience the Disneyland-exclusive Holiday overlays on two of my favorite attractions, "it's a small world" and "Haunted Mansion" not to mention the appearance of the gorgeous Christmas decorations!

    Honestly, the best place to look for deals is on the official Disneyland Special Offers website! Discounts and promotions are periodically announced throughout the year but it's hard to pinpoint exactly when they will be available!  

    As far as the Dining Plan is concerned, Disneyland's version is a voucher system that serves more as a method of convenience rather than one of value, so it amounts to the same as paying out of pocket!

    Your children's ages were cut off of your question, so I can't see them, but I absolutely ADORE the Disneyland Hotel and was just there last week!  This property has just undergone a major renovation and is now celebrated as a AAA 4-Diamond Award recipient!  Here's the best part... it's located just steps away from Downtown Disney and BOTH theme parks, so you'll never miss any of the excitement!
