Going to DL next week and just heard about the Matterhorn. Please let me know if there are any drops and which side is the scariest, because i'm a bit of a chicken. thanks!

    Hi, Belinda!

You are talking to the "queen" of being a chicken on coasters - just ask my teenagers! They always laugh at me as I am screaming on kiddie-coasters!  I can honestly tell you that the Matterhorn Bobsleds are nothing to fear. There are no huge drops, just lots of twists and turns, reaching a top speed of 27 miles per hour . To me, the worst part of it is that you get tossed around a bit. If you don't mind a bit of a rough ride, you will be just fine.

As far as left vs. right, I have never noticed a difference. There may be some Matterhorn Bobsled experts out there who favor one side, but I don't think there is noticeably different.

So hop into your bobsled, and keep an eye out for that Abominable Snowman!  Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
