Hi! Going to DL mid June. Is pin trading happening now? Id hate for my kids to lug their pins and to have their expectations let down if not. Thank you!

    Hello again, Christine!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for continuing to bring your questions our way!

Pin trading is such a fun way for kids to come home with an affordable souvenir while also interacting with Cast Members throughout the Disneyland Resort. Prior to reopening, Cast Members would walk around with lanyards or bibs with several pins attached. And, almost every retail store had a pin trading board near the register. Unfortunately, pin trading at the Disneyland Resort is currently paused. Hopefully, pin trading will return soon so your kids can enjoy this beloved pastime on your next visit. For your upcoming trip, consider stopping by Disney Pin Traders at the Downtown Disney District for a new souvenir pin to take home.

Enjoy your family vacation! Please come back to see us if you have any other questions!

Greetings from San Diego, CA! I'm a wife, cat mom and Disney-loving "childfree millennial." I've traveled all around the world, but my favorite place to visit is "The Happiest Place on Earth!" I've been going to the Disneyland Resort for over 25 years. Each time I step through the turnstiles to enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy, I feel the magic of Walt Disney's original park. I can't wait to answer your questions and help you experience all that the Disneyland Resort has to offer! Learn More About Tiffanie
