Hi, Christine!
Thanks for visiting with your great questions. It sounds like you have a wonderful trip to the Disneyland Resort in the works for your family!
Each of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels offers suites that vary in size and layout, most of which include more than one bathroom. Paradise Pier Hotel has one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, and some have theme park views. The Disneyland Hotel offers one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, in addition to five luxurious Signature Suites that are exceptionally themed—the Mickey Mouse Penthouse, the Pirates of the Caribbean Suite, the Adventureland Suite, the Fairytale Suite, and the Big Thunder Mountain Suite. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa also offers well-appointed one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, in addition to four deluxe Signature Suites with unique theming and extravagant amenities.
You can reserve adjoining standard hotel rooms to accommodate your family, as well. At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, there are rooms with one queen bed, two bunk beds and a trundle. These bunk beds are smaller than a standard twin—the perfect size for young children—and add an extra element of fun to the room for kids. This would be a great hotel choice with little ones because it is definitely the most conveniently located to the theme parks and the Downtown Disney District. The hotel’s exclusive entrance to Disney California Adventure Park is a fabulous perk, especially with children in tow. It makes trips back to the hotel room for a nap or change of clothes a snap! Generally speaking, you don’t have to include one baby under the age of 3 in the maximum room capacity count.
I hope this helps, Christine. Please write back with any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your Disneyland Resort vacation.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
