Hi David, and welcome to planDisney! The only thing better than a summer stay at the Disneyland Resort is knowing you have another one just around the corner! It seems like you have a Believe Key or Inspire Key, which allows up to six park reservations at a time. As a fellow
Magic Key holder, I’m happy to help you navigate your summer plans!
Since you've met your reservation limit, you won't be able to book an additional park day for August until you use one of your July reservations. My advice, then, would be to book your next reservation just after entering the park. Do this on the first two days of your July trip to secure reservations for the remaining days of your August visit.
You will want to be strategic about which two dates you book first for August. I would prioritize Friday, August 22, 2025, since that is the first day of
Halloween Time. Most Sundays in August are open for the Enchant Key, and Guests with that pass will be eager to visit after being blocked out most of June and July, which is why I suggest also prioritizing Sunday.
David, if reservations happen to become unavailable – Hakuna Matata! Guests can cancel or modify their theme park reservations up until 11:59 p.m. the night before, so
reservation availability can change. If a date doesn't show as available, check back often. If only one park is available on the date you want, go ahead and grab it – with a Magic Key pass, you can visit either park after 11 a.m.
Did you know that, as a Disneyland Resort hotel Guest, you'll have the opportunity to
enter a designated park 30 minutes before it opens each day you are checked in? To do that, you'll need to make sure the park on your reservation matches the park that is offering Early Entry. You can modify your starting park in advance, as long as it's available.
And if, by chance, a reservation just doesn’t open up, consider enjoying all the hotel has to offer. The Disneyland Hotel has fantastic amenities like
waterslides, whirlpools, themed pools, movie nights,
guided hotel tours, and more. Between all that and the restaurants, entertainment venues, and shops in the
Downtown Disney District, you can easily pass the time. Of course, you can also
call the Guest Information line to speak with a Cast Member – while it's not guaranteed that they will be able to do anything, you can try explaining your situation to them as a Disneyland Resort hotel Guest.
I know it’s a bit of a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer that all eight days can’t be booked at once, but booking strategically and staying flexible will go a long way. If my own experiences are any indication, you should be fine, especially if you book strategically. You’ve got this, David!
If you have any other questions, we're here to help. I'll sprinkle some pixie dust and make a wish that you'll be able to secure the rest of your reservations without difficulty. Have an amazing summer!
Your pal,
Kriss
