My DL flex pass expires in 5 days before the park reopens. I know the expiration will be extended for as many days as park is closed. Will the pass disappear from my account at expiration and reappear at reopen? Do I need to renew before the park reopens?

    Hey Kent!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m delighted you brought a question to us!
You’ve come to the right place! I too have a Disneyland Resort Flex Passport and I too chose to have my pass extended until the park reopens! I’m assuming you’ve already called Annual Passholder Services at (714) 781-PASS (714-781-7277) to opt-in to the Passport extension program. But, if you have not, make sure you call before your expiration date. It only takes a few minutes for your preference to be notated on your profile.

My Flex Passport’s regular expiration date was just last week. So, I can tell you from experience that your Passport will disappear from the Disneyland App. The Cast Member I spoke to explained that once Passports that are no longer valid they are removed. But, when the theme parks reopen and your new expiration date has been determined, you should see the Passport reappear on your Disneyland account. If it does not automatically show up, simply add it back to your account using the number below the barcode on the back of your Annual Passport card. Also, any extras you added to your Annual Passport like Disney MaxPass or parking, will be extended as well. So, there is no need for you to renew your Annual Passport at this time.

I can’t wait to continue our year of magic at “The Happiest Place on Earth!” If you think of any more questions before then, please bring them our way!
