    Going to DL first week of June. First time in California. Wanting to stay at a Good Neighbor Hotel. Out of the 2 what would be your pick? Anabella Hotel or Ramada Inn Maingate? Wanting a nice clean place to stay at. On a budget! Thanks.

    If you decide to stay at one of the Good Neighbor Hotels you've mentioned, I definitely recommend my favorite, the Anabella because of its close proximity to both Disneyland and California Adventure.  I really like the fact that this hotel is very "boutiquey" and is beautifully landscaped with lush, tropical gardens, not to mention the friendly staff. You can watch Disneyland's fireworks display from the parking lot and can arrive at Downtown Disney within 10 minutes when walking. I also really enjoy the hotel's restaurant, Tangerine Cafe which features live jazz in the evenings.  I suggest upgrading a Mission Suite for your vacation.  These spacious suites can accommodate up to 5 guests and feature hardwood floors, granite bathrooms, and some even have private terrace areas.

    While I have stayed at the Anabella on several occasions, I must also recommend Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel which is located right across the street.  The reason I say this is because the Disney-owned hotels offer an unparalleled level of service and cleanliness, not to mention exclusive perks which are only available to registered guests.  These perks include Magic Mornings, use of Keys to the Magic, Character Calls, and Package Express to name a few.  Staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel can be more affordable than you may think because guests can commonly take advantage of great vacation package deals by visiting the Special Offers section of the official Disneyland website.
