Going to DL for first time ever. Staying at onsite hotel and have MaxPass. We are going at the end of March. I only see Fantasmic listed. What about World of Color or any parades? Dining package with these shows -worth it? Any other tips?

Oh boy! Angela. You are going to have a terrific time at a Disneyland Resort Hotel and will maximize the fun with Disney MaxPass!

While the Disneyland Resort calendar is normally available 30 to 45 days in advance, specific entertainment offerings may not be added to the schedule until much closer to the actual dates. At this time, both Fantasmic! and World of Color are undergoing refurbishment. Whether or not they happen to be available at the end of March, I'm certain you'll still find many exciting shows to enjoy. I enjoy watching Frozen – Live at the Hyperion. And I'm really excited for the recently-debuted Mickey's Mix Magic and Mickey's Soundsational Parade, which returns this week.

My family has really enjoyed special dining packages that feature not only delicious culinary delights but also preferred seating for select entertainment events. We find value in these special packages because they help us save time for visiting attractions instead of waiting for seating. We gain that benefit while enjoying something we need to do anyway: eat a delicious meal. Scheduled availability of these packages varies. Check the dining event list for updated information.

    Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
