Going to DL Apr 2013. Staying @ Disneyland Hotel. Want to know the conveniences of staying at each of the 3 towers...like is one closedt to the pool or dining etc. Also read the Fantasy Tower's renovation would be completed 2012? Has it all been done? tks!

    Hi Bonnie!

So excited to hear that you'll be traveling out to California next year to experience the Disneyland Resort!  I think you're going to absolutely LOVE the Disneyland Hotel, and since its recent renovation, I must say that it holds a very special place in my Disney-loving heart!

All of the towers are complete, and have been renamed to reflect the new style and design of the property and each tower's lobby area has a distinct and nostalgic Disney theme! Here is a run-down of each tower:

Adventure Tower: This tower is the closest to Downtown Disney and the theme parks and houses the preferred or view rooms in addition to the Concierge rooms.  This tower is literally steps away from Downtown Disney on one side and the pool on the other!  The theming of this tower's lobby is nostalgic Jungle Cruise.

Fantasy Tower:  This tower is the main tower is home to the hotel lobby, gift shop, in addition to both view rooms that overlook the pools, and standard rooms that overlook the entrance, parking lot, and convention center.  The theming of this lobby is very classic Disney!

Frontier Tower:  This tower is the farthest from the pool area, and houses standard rooms that overlook the parking lot and view rooms that overlook the pool area.  The lobby of this tower is decked out with a huge model of Big Thunder Mountain and old western music fills the air!

Please note that the towers are all located pretty close together.  No location is a bad location.  Even the Frontier Tower is only a very short walk from the pool and the other towers!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
