Hi Fun Bo,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation is so close, can you feel the magic?
As a person who loves video content, I too have a gimbal that I use when traveling. The good news is that you can bring these on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, as long as they don’t extend!
The
Walt Disney World Resort rules state that selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles for phones or cameras aren’t permitted. In my experience, since gimbals don’t extend, you should be okay!
I will note that as you’re going through security, it might be helpful to have your gimbal (turned off) and phone in your hands as you walk through the scanners. As you’re walking through, make sure to follow the direction of the Cast Members.
One quick tip: If you’re looking for some fun video or picture content within the Parks, try looking for spots around the iconic Walt Disney World structures. For example, instead of taking a picture directly in front of the
Tree of Life, head into the trails that surround the Tree. This way you get a more unique viewpoint and it’ll be a bit less crowded (especially in the morning)!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your epic holiday vacation. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
