Is the DJI OM-4 gimbal allowed in the parks? It is a trigger grip with my iPhone attached.

Hello Jeff and may I wish you a very warm welcome to planDisney!

At Walt Disney World Resort, almost everywhere you care to look there is a magical picture waiting to be captured forever.  And with the pixie-dusted photo-taking powers of an iPhone it's so very easy to snap away all day long ensuring that your treasured memories are stowed away right there in the palm of your hand!

Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort are simply Wild About Safety!  And with this in mind, there are of course rules and policies in place for everyone's safety and wellbeing whilst they visit the most magical place on earth.

When considering bringing your DJI OM-4 gimbal into the Disney Theme Parks, I encourage you to double-check the current Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules which states that selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles are not permitted.

However, Jeff, I am happy to share that the rules are also quite clear that camera tripods and mono-stands which fit into a standard-sized backpack and have extension poles that are less than 6' (182cm) are indeed currently permitted at Walt Disney World Resort.

Jeff, I also thought it might be useful for you to know about the Portable Phone Charging System Kiosks that are available for Guest convenience at Walt Disney World Resort.  After purchasing a Portable Phone Charging System kit which comes complete with a portable battery charger and cables and adapters to fit select Apple and Android phones you'll be all set to get super-snap-happy with your iPhone!

All that remains is for me to wish you a zip-a-dee-doo-dah upcoming July vacation to the magic and wonder of Walt Disney World Resort!

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
