Divorced mother of 3 children. Father is overseas in active duty. Can purchase discounted tickets at the base, but how can I activate the tickets, my children have military id cards. thanks

    Hi Tiffany!

If you have a military ID card, you should be able to purchase the discounted tickets at the nearest military base.  All of the military bases I've been to in Maryland have been heavily advertising the special tickets.  However, you can also get them at Walt Disney World.  Eligible members or spouses (but not both) can purchase up to 6 special military tickets.  These tickets can not be used in any parks from 12/27/10 - 12/31/10 or 4/17/11 - 4/23/11 and not in the Magic Kingdom on 7/4/11.  These special tickets must be purchased by 9/28/11 and used by 10/1/11.

However, you can also generally purchase discounted "normal" tickets at a military base as well, and at the Shades of Green Resort at Walt Disney World.  At the Shades of Green, ask for the Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes tickets.

    Good luck!
