Hi Wing! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. Welcome!
My son absolutely loves it when our summer plans include a Disney Cruise. So do I! There’s
so much to do together and plenty to enjoy on your own, too! From character meet-and-greets to Broadway-style shows, themed parties, fun-filled youth clubs, and unlimited ice cream, it’s hard to decide what to do first!
You’ll be happy to know that Disney Cruise Line doesn’t require an authorization form if a child is traveling with one parent. When I did the online check-in for my son, I noticed a question asking, “Is a parent or legal guardian of this minor sailing on this cruise?” If you answer yes, you’re good to go. Just make sure to bring everyone’s passports to the port for a quick review before you board the ship.
Your sons will have an incredible time exploring the
kids’ clubs. I recommend attending the Open House hours on the first day to meet the counselors and check out the amazing spaces together. The counselors do a fantastic job of making even the most nervous sailors feel welcome. You can read all about the daily activities on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
Wing, I hope this cruise is a wonderful adventure that brings you and your sons even closer together. Enjoy every moment!
SEAS the adventure!
