Welcome to planDisney, Cheryl! You're in for an incredible underwater adventure with your
Dive Quest excursion at EPCOT this week, and I'm so excited to chat with you today about the logistics of your excursion to help you plan for a fin-tastic day!
Cheryl, the drop-off lane for guests arriving at EPCOT by rideshare services is near the bus area; from here, it's a short walk to the park entrance, where
Guest Relations is located. This is where you will report to check in for your dive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Once your check-in is complete, it's probably about a 15-minute walk to the Seas pavilion. While I haven't participated in a diving excursion, on my last visit to EPCOT, the timing of our visit to the
SeaBase Aquarium matched up with a dive group, and we were able to watch the divers explore the underwater area. It was a really neat experience as a spectator, and I can't imagine how cool it must be to be on the inside with all the aquatic creatures surrounding you so closely! Speaking of spectators, if you have any friends or family coming to watch, I'd recommend they be in the aquarium about 30-40 minutes after your scheduled dive time to see you. You should be in the water for about 40 minutes in total during your excursion, and they'll be able to wave and interact with you through the windows!
Cheryl, I hope this helps! If you have any other questions before your visit, come see us again at
planDisney! We're always here to dive into the magic of planning a Disney vacation with you!
Just Keep Swimming,
Alison
