Hi Camille,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I attended Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party last night and saw a couple of strollers that were decorated
so creatively, and they brought a big smile to my face. One was covered in cobwebs and wrapped in glowing pumpkin lights. What a fun way to add a little extra magic to your magical vacation!
Camille, balloons are a great way to spot a stroller, and I like your thinking in bringing one from outside so it stands out from the rest. I’m happy to confirm that yes, you’ll be allowed to bring balloons into any of the theme parks, but (as you noted) not Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Please remember that your stroller must go through security, so it and the balloon tied to it will be subject to inspection and the discretion of the security Cast Members. You may want to take a quick look at the
Park Rules before your visit to be sure your stroller complies with the rules; when you arrive at security, take everything out from underneath and any pockets to help keep the line moving smoothly.
Have so much fun choosing your stroller décor, Camille! As you continue with your planning and Disney Dreaming, please check out some
stroller tips from my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists, as well as these excellent
tips for helping stroller-aged Mouseketeers have the best day ever at Walt Disney World!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
