    Is there distilled water available for purchase? My friend uses a machine for sleep apnea that requires distilled water

    Hi Mary Ann!

    This is a question that I come across often, as guests like to have their CPAP machines with them for restful sleep on their Walt Disney World Resort vacations. I don't personally use a CPAP machine, however, I've traveled on numerous occasions with friends and family members that do.

    Disney Resort hotels don't typically keep distilled water in stock and available for purchase, so many guests choose to have it delivered directly to their resort hotel room via a grocery delivery service. I've used Gardengrocer.com often, and would highly recommend their services. We like to keep bottled water, juice, and snacks in our room, and using Garden Grocer has been an affordable, convenient choice for our family!

    My dad had sleep apnea, and traveled with his CPAP machine, and simply chose to use bottled water in his machine for the few nights that we were in Walt Disney World. Distilled water is recommended for the machines because it's mineral-free and won't cause build-up over time. My dad's physician assured him that occasional use of bottled water was fine for his particular machine. (I would encourage checking with your healthcare provider before going this route.) Bottled water can be found in all resort hotel gift shops and restaurants.
