    Are disposable face masks allowed?

Hi, Tammy! Thanks for coming back to see us here at planDisney!

Bedknobs and broomsticks, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation starts tomorrow! I bet you're so excited! Just imagine - in a few hours, you'll be going under that Walt Disney World sign and your vacation will be underway!

If you're doing a little last-minute packing right now, you're probably gathering masks for the family to wear. Hakuna Matata, Tammy! No worries! If you prefer disposable masks, you can absolutely bring them with you to Walt Disney World. They just need to fit the requirements in Disney's face coverings policy:

"All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:

       - Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material
       - Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
       - Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
       - Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the Guest to remain hands-free"

If your disposable masks fit those parameters, you're good to go. And if you'd like to pick up some cute Disney-themed masks to wear during your trip, you'll find lots of designs to choose from at retail locations all over Walt Disney World Resort!

Tammy, did you know there are a couple of apps that will make your Walt Disney World vacation easier and even more fun? The My Disney Experience app helps keep all of your plans together, and is the place to go for Mobile Ordering meals on the go. And the Play Disney Parks app is chock-full of games, trivia, and interactive experiences that will change the way you play in the Parks. We love to fire it up while waiting in line for attractions. It makes the time fly!

I hope this helps you get ready to hit the ground running tomorrow, Tammy. Have a magical vacation, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
