I am going to DisneyWorld with my DH and three children. I purchased the dining plan. My husband is vegetarian and I am concerned there will not be enough for him to eat. Any advice will be really appreciated. Thank you

    Hi Mara,

Your husband will likely be delighted with the large variety of creative options for vegetarians at the counter service and table service restaurants throughout Walt Disney World.  In fact, with each visit, I find that there are more options for vegetarians.  Many of the counter service restaurants offer veggie burgers, and options such as roasted vegetable wraps, hummus sandwiches (Columbia Harbor House) and vegetarian chili.  Pizza is also readily available at many quick service locations.  At the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle station at the Magic Kingdom they offer vegetarian noodle bowl with tofu.

At Epcot, Tutto Italia serves a large variety of meatless (and seafood-less) pasta dishes.  Marrakesh has a great vegetable couscous.   Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge has a great variety of African-inspired meatless dishes, and is a wonderful spot for dinner.  Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge has a vegetarian smoked portobello soup and a potato potsticker dinner with edamame and a soy dressing that I had on my most recent trip and loved!  This is not a comprehensive list, but rather a tiny sampling of the vegetarian options at Disney.

The independent website www.allears.net has a list of all of the current menus at Walt Disney World.  I'd recommend spending some time exploring the site.  I think you will see that your husband will enjoy a wonderful culinary experience at Disney World!

    Have a great trip!
