We are to be a DisneyWorld starting on Saturady this week and stay until August 18th.I have been looking at the forecast and it says rain and thunderstorms every day of our trip. This worries me because im afraid we will not get to do everything. Any advice

    Hi Matt,

Oh the dreaded forecast!  Nothing is worse than seeing a gloomy outlook for a vacation you've waited months for.  The good news is that just about every attraction is inside.  Unless the weather is severe (like a hurricane) the parks will be open.  Locals will most likely stay at home, so actually crowds will be lighter than normal which could work to your advantage.  Bring ponchos, you'll need them to get from one attraction to the other.  I'd also pack extra shoes.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
