I am going to DisneyWorld in Sept. I have 2 girls(2 and 4) I am gettin the dining deluxe plan. Do I get the meals and snacks for my 2 yrs old? I need to know if I need to purchase food for her while there. Thanks Greatly.

    Hi Amanda,

You will not be able to purchase the dining plan for your two year old because she is not included in your package.  This is a good thing because you don't have to pay for a park ticket for her.  I went with my daughter when she was 1 1/2 and then again when she was 2 1/2.  Both times we were on the meal plan and thought we got a great deal.  She was able to eat at all the buffet meals without a charge.  We also ate at a few family style restaurants, like the lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table, the Garden Grill, and Ohana.  At each of those restaurants the server provided my daughter with a small kiddie plate on the house.  She was also able to share anything off our plates.

We did have to purchase a few meals at the al a cart sit down restaurants.  When we ate at counter service locations we just bought a child friendly adult meal for her because we had extra credits.  For example, we would get a bottles of juice, an order of chicken nuggets, and a fruit cup.  The bottled beverages and the fruit cups traveled well.  We kept the fruit in the room refrigerator so that my little one could snack first thing in the morning.

You are also going to have a lot of meal credits because you and your older daughter get 3 per day.  You will also get 2 snacks per day.  I think your out of pocket expense will be very little.

    Have a great time
