Welcome to planDisney, Robin!
With a four year old, a one year old, and my milk-loving husband in tow, I feel like we get a lot of milk at the theme parks… My four year old and my husband are currently obsessed with
Green Milk from Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios — we have to make a pit stop almost every time we visit for their galactic milk treat.
While we do a lot of whole milk and 2% milk for our family, I had to do a little research for skim milk at the theme parks. I reached out to an incredible Cast Member, Indigo, who gave me some insider information about the skim milk situation at the dining locations at Disney World. According to my new friend, Indigo, skim milk can be found at various dining locations by requesting it. Skim milk is based on availability at restaurants, and is not the “default” milk that you will receive if you were to order milk from the menu. (You would receive the standard 1% or 2% Mickey bottle of milk at most places.) You are more than welcome to request it, as many dining locations that offer milk will have some skim milk available during the day. Again, though, this is based on availability.
If skim milk is a necessity for your party, Robin, I recommend checking your hotel’s food court as they may have a half gallon or larger bottles available of skim milk that you could keep in your room’s beverage cooler. You could also order a gallon of skim milk from a grocery store or visit a convenience shop nearby.
If you have additional questions before your trip, Robin, we hope to hear from you again at
