    Does Disneyworld still offer fastpass?

    Hi there Michelle! Our old friend, FastPass+, has entered the Disney vault for retirement! It was a great service and will be missed by fans of the Disney Parks!

    In place of FastPass+ is a brand new service known as Disney Genie! This complimentary service will be available through a Guest’s My Disney Experience account. It will also be available on the My Disney Experience app. Disney Genie will provide Guests will park planning tips customized to the Guest’s interests. It will also provide notifications regarding when an attraction might be experiencing lower than normal wait times!

    If Guests want to upgrade their service, they can purchase Disney Genie+! This will allow Guests to skip the traditional wait in line and head directly to the new Lightning Lane! This upgrade will cost $15/day per ticket. It will allow access to many rides in the Disney Parks!

    Finally, the most popular attractions in the Disney Parks will be available through a traditional queue or by purchasing Lightning Lane access! Guests can purchase Lightning Lane access for up to two of the most popular attractions in a day!

    Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ will be available sometime during the month of October 2021. An official release date hasn’t been announced, but we’ll all be keeping a close eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website to find out when the Genie is out of the lamp!
