Hi! We will be at DisneyWorld in October this year, and I just realized it will be during the Wine and Food Festival!! How does this work? Are there special event tickets to buy? I went to the event page, but there was not much detail. Thanks.

    Hi, Lisa!

Oh, you are in for SUCH a treat at Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival! It's so spectacular, even my 11-year-old foodie dreams of returning so that he can eat his way around the's that good.

In order to get a better understanding of what to expect from this year's Festival, the details of which have not yet been finalized, take a look at postings of previous years' Festivals on great fan sites such as In their search bar, just enter "food & wine festival" and then select the first hit that's listed from There, you'll find lots of information on the previous year's Festival (which was spectacular) including links to Special Experiences, Seminars and Demonstrations, even a list of performers playing at "Eat to the Beat."

While this information may differ slightly from what's coming up for the next year, it will surely give you an idea of what's available as an add-on, pricing, etc. Many of the Seminars and Special Experiences sell out rather quickly, so check back frequently for updates as they become available.

If you're on Facebook, don't overlook the link on the WDW Epcot International Food & Wine Festival page, which will enable you to keep up with the latest chatter about this really wonderful event.

Send more questions as you think of them, Lisa! I'd love to help you enjoy the Festival as well as any other aspect of your upcoming fantastic trip to WDW!
