Hi Chelly,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is less than a month away, and I know just how excited you're getting! You're so close to the magic!
Disney's Hollywood Studios is positively dreamy at night, decked out in dreamy neon and shadowy palm trees. I think you've got a great plan to use your
Park Hopper ticket option to hop over to Disney's Hollywood Studios after a day exploring Disney's Animal Kingdom. I'll be honest: I'm getting a little jealous just thinking about this day!
Chelly, I double-checked the
Park Hours for March 7, and you're correct that Disney's Hollywood Studios is set to close at 8:00 p.m., with
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. show time. (Please note that Park Hours are subject to change at any time, so you may want to check the My Disney Experience mobile app a few days before your visit.) This means you'll want to be sure you enter Disney's Hollywood Studios before the park closes.
It's common for nighttime spectaculars to take place after the theme park closes. You'll notice that attractions no longer accept Guests in the ride queue once the park closes, and that many dining and merchandise locations shut down. However, you'll be able to find a spot and enjoy the show. Don't forget to arrive with time to pick up some popcorn, or a sweet treat from
The Trolley Car Café, to enjoy while you take in the
out-of-this world fireworks!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
