Hey there, Nicole! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to see us! There’s nothing like being well-prepared for a Disney vacation to make it as memorable as possible for those you love. The result is so rewarding! When it comes to your daughter being comfortable and safe while she travels, the
Disability Access Service (DAS) pass will be a big help, I am sure. While DAS does not provide immediate access to experiences, it allows Guests to specify a return time to avoid physical waits in a standby line in cases of a disability that makes this difficult.
Now it is easier than ever to make those plans in advance since you can register for DAS online before you travel!
Online registration happens via a live chat, which you can request anytime between 30 days and two days of your visit. Alternatively, you can also register in person on the first day of your trip at any Guest Services location, provided that the person who will be registering is present with you.
Once you’re registered, the DAS pass will be linked to the Guest who registered for it and up to 5 additional Guests in your party. This will be available via the Guests’
MagicBands and Admission Cards, so no additional bands are needed! If you need to order MagicBands, you can do so from the main page of your My Disney Experience Account, provided that it is more than ten days before your vacation start date! Check out all the fantastic options available for premium MagicBands. It is a prime accessory, so the sky’s the limit!
Nicole, I hope that this information helps you continue to plan and dream with your loved ones. If we can help again in the future, do not hesitate to come back and see us!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
