we are going to Disneyworld in mar 12,2014. how much lead time should I use. and can I improve my check in if cost go down

    Hi Gene,

In my opinion, it is never too early to begin planning your Walt Disney World vacation. In fact, if you are traveling in March, I'd encourage you to begin browsing menus! One of my favorite resources for all things dining is the independent site allears.net. From the home page, click "Walt Disney World," then "Dining," and finally "Menus." Advanced Dining Reservations can be made as early as 180-days prior to your arrival date. You can set them online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Many of the most popular dining locations will book up at 180-days.

There are several resourceful planning tips at the following link, "Planning Your First Trip." Begin browsing the topics and be sure to order a complimentary Disney Vacation Planning DVD

Keep a watchful eye on the Special Offers page, too. When an available offer matches your travel dates, give 407-W-DISNEY a call to see if your package is eligible. In my experience, I've been successful in modifying my existing reservation with the new offer.

Did I answer your questions, Gene? If you'd like me to expand on any of the above topics, please feel free to write me back. We love assisting guests with their planning and wish you a magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Best wishes,
    Sherri
