going to disneyworld for the first time arriving on sunday april 18th at approx 11:30pm at our resort, magic kingdom has extra magic hours until 2am, will i still be able to take advantage of these hours even though we are arriving so late? thanks so much

Hi, Ashley!   Yes, you are technically able to go to the Extra Magic Hours at any time if you are a WDW Resort Guest.   However, if you arriving at 11:30 p.m., by the time you check in, drop off your bags in your room and take the bus over, it will probably be 12:30 a.m. giving you only an hour and a half in the park.   Not only will you have to use a day of your park tickets to do this, I am guessing you will be tired!

You might be better off just checking out your resort on that first night, get a good night's sleep and hit the ground running the next morning, but it is totally up to you!   This is your vacation, so go wherever the magic takes you and have FUN!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
