going to Disneyworld for a few days then a 4 nt Disney cruise should we purchase the insurance? in case any of us get sick while on vacation?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tisha! Making plans for a big vacation is always exciting! But when you looking into the future, you never know what’s ahead as you travel from Walt Disney World Resort to the cruise port.

When I cruise, particularly, I always purchase travel insurance. I’ve never had to use it, but it’s an inexpensive way to ensure that your money and plans are safe if an unusual event ever arises. I had a friend break her leg right before a big trip, and she was unable to go through with the travel. Luckily, her insurance meant that she wasn’t out of pocket when her departure day came. I purchase my travel and vacation insurance with my Travel Agent, Joy, and I always feel good about it. I would speak with your Travel Agent before your trip is paid in full to add the travel insurance to your bill. You’ll find there may be a few different plans, in case you fall ill, aren’t able to travel or weather delays your plans.

If I can help you with any other vacation issues or help you choose which activities may suit your family, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
