Ahoy Christi!
I'm so happy to welcome you back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As we both are freezing in Illinois, I'm living vicariously through you as you plan for your incredible Disney Cruise Line voyage next month! Congratulations on accumulating a great number of points! I love using our Disney Visa Card from Chase throughout the year and earning reward points that can be turned into
Disney Dream Reward Dollars.
I would hate for you to lose your points, too! Although the majority of the fun onboard is
included in the price of your cruise, there are activities and services you may want to experience that are an additional cost and not included. Also, it's
customary to give gratuities which are charged to your stateroom account and not covered in the cost of your cruise. If you don't want to use all of your points, perhaps you can convert the points that are close to expiring to Disney Dream Reward Dollars and use those toward settling your stateroom account?
I love using Disney Dream Reward Dollars to pay for my Disney vacations (both land and sea)! If you're thinking about planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort before these points expire and have your heart set on using them there, that's a great plan, too! My opinion is to just not let the points expire, especially since you know you'll be sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey next month!
If you choose to use your Disney Dream Reward Dollars on the cruise, just stop by Guest Services once you arrive onboard. Let them know you would like to apply your Reward gift card to your stateroom account. It's that easy!
Please give Captain Mickey a hug for me!
