Robert from MD Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have been to Disney many many times in my life with children and grandchildren. Now my wife and I both in our 70s woukd like to spend a leisurely day at Epcot. But the cost for the 2 of us is prohibitive for a 1 day ticket. Any discounts?

Hey there, Robert! Welcome to planDisney! I’m happy to help with your question. Your autumn excursion to Walt Disney World will be here before you know it, and it’s never too early to be planning your next visit.

Your best source for info on deals and discounts is the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website. I don’t currently see any discounts for single-day tickets, but this page is updated regularly, and new deals may become available as we move into the fall and winter season. You can also call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone line if you have questions about available discounts, and a friendly Cast Member will be able to help you out.

It sounds like you’re a seasoned Walt Disney World adventurer, but visiting without kids or grandkids is a whole other magical experience, and a leisurely day at EPCOT sounds about perfect. An adults-only trip, or just traveling with fewer people, is a great opportunity to slow down and appreciate all the fine details of the parks. And no strollers or diaper bags in tow! Woo hoo! You could enjoy an Enchanted Extra, like the Behind the Seeds tour or La Cava Experience, or an extra special meal at one of EPCOT’s many amazing restaurants. Based on the dates you’ve provided, the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival will be in full swing, so there will be even more delicious food and fun shows to enjoy.

Robert, I hope this information helps and that you have a great visit later this year. Come right back to planDisney if you have any other questions!

    Magical travels!
